And it kind of was.
I didn’t work today. Well, not at my actual job. I instead worked with my dad and mowed two yards. $70. Not bad.
We later came home and my brother checked the mail. The important letters were scholarships. I got the same one I got last year. Pretty exciting! I am so glad I got that because I really need the help. This time they’re asking for 2x2 pictures of all 15 scholarship winners as well as a mall paragraph about oneself so they can put up on their website and show us off. This is also another way for them to get more sponsors. More money, that is. SADCO is where I’m getting my money from. Friends of Colombia Society, translated to English.
Then I made my first real Craigslist purchase: a handmade drawing/drafting table. The guy put it up for $75 but I worked my magic and bought it for $45. You know how I do. So now I have a really nice space to work on future projects. I am doing Interior Design after all.
I went with my parents to the Latino Festival at the state fairgrounds. It was packed, really. And people still kept coming while others were leaving. I bought a thing of shaved ice, a Diablito, which is tamarind with hot sauce, salt, and lime. It was very hot. But I managed to eat it all. Enjoyed all the eye candy Mexico had to offer, that’s for sure. I swear my neck had its workout of the year, well, so far ^_-.
Finally came home and watched Saw VI with my family. Pretty gory, just how I like it. My mom finally gave up and went to bed early, the rest of us followed when the movie was done. I do think there will be a seventh one though. Just maybe.
And! Church tomorrow ^_^. I always look forward to church. I sing in the choir so that is the way I praise. I am loud, but not in an obnoxious way. We sound great and that’s what matters.

The seventh and last movie is almost out and I’ve yet to watch the sixth one. I think I may want to revisit the books as well.

I always start entries with “So…” but I will stop that. I was looking to update my blogspot blog but feeling really lazy. Plus all my followers don’t get on there anymore. What a better way to start fresh.
